The Post

An exciting opportunity to be part of a growing tech company with healthcare, education and social care customers across the UK and USA. We are looking for an enthusiastic, organised and proactive self-starter who has excellent people and relationship-building/multi-tasking skills to help us attract and select the best candidates for our business. Reporting to the COO, you will be responsible for delivering the business’ recruitment strategy and overseeing the end to end recruitment process including sourcing candidates, managing relationships with recruiters, managing candidate queries, interview screening, and arranging and conducting interviews.

Our flexible working policy enables people to work from anywhere that enables them to get the job done. We have core hours of 10:00-15:00 Monday-Friday to enable us to find time to collaborate, but are flexible outside these hours as long as we are meeting the needs of our customers and our team. This position is available as either Nottingham office-based, remote (UK) or a hybrid model where you can choose the right amount of time in the office for you. We support flexible working in many forms - as well as a flexible work day, we support condensed hours, 9-day fortnights and part-time (where appropriate).

This is a full time (37.5 hours), fixed-term (12 months) role which includes a commission package.

Details of the Role

Key responsibilities

  • Work with our Leadership team to deliver a resourcing strategy to support the growth of our business over the next 12 months
  • Manage the full cycle of the recruitment pipeline including job advertisements, sourcing, interview screening, offer negotiation, and the hiring of successful candidates in all types of roles from entry level to C-suite roles
  • Proactively source potential candidates for open and unfulfilled vacancies
  • Constantly source and build relationships with potential candidates to maintain a strong pipeline for future vacancies
  • Monitor, assess and process applications, making a sound judgement based on their strengths and potential
  • Managing candidate enquiries in a warm, professional and timely manner ensuring a positive candidate experience
  • Support hiring managers to write accurate, well phrased job descriptions and adverts
  • Maintain relationships and liaise in a warm, professional, timely manner with external recruiters
  • Negotiate fees with external recruiters
  • Good record keeping
  • Ensure candidates are correctly and efficiently moved through the application process
  • Schedule, conduct, and assess online interviews while recording and delivering positive/constructive feedback
  • Ensure all appointed candidates are a great cultural fit for Imosphere
  • Work with leadership and managers to identify future hiring needs
  • Liaising with hiring managers to discuss their needs, discuss potential candidates and interview logistics
  • Supporting hiring managers to develop job adverts, associated screening questionnaires and interview activities
  • Support hiring managers by coaching and embedding best practice across the end to end recruitment lifecycle
  • Identify and organise attendance at relevant recruitment fairs
  • Take initiatives relating to Imosphere’s brand on our social media channels and at industry events

Knowledge

  • Knowledge of where best to advertise for different types of roles and keep abreast of new channels for recruitment adverts
  • Knowledge of human resources and UK employment law
  • Good understanding of relevant GDPR and information security processes relating to recruitment
  • Gain a good working knowledge of the business departments, their needs and plans for the future
  • Continually develop personal knowledge of workforce planning and recruitment by making best use of the training resources available, including the internet, books and the organisation’s training budget
  • Freely share knowledge, insight, good practices and ideas

Security Standards & Data Protection

  • Maintain awareness of latest data protection and security threats relevant to recruitment
  • Follow internal information security procedures and identify potential omissions through the appropriate channels
  • Raise information security incident reports following the company’s incident reporting process

Desirable

  • 3+ years of recruitment or talent acquisition experience
  • Previous experience of recruiting roles in the IT/Tech industry
  • Knowledge of US recruitment
  • Experience in planning and executing recruitment campaigns
  • Experience in UK visa sponsorship for employers
