Work for a company at the leading edge of innovation in health, education and social care.
What our team says
Being a new starter in a remote environment during lockdown was daunting, but everyone’s been so welcoming and supportive. The core values of the company shine through. There’s a great culture here and I’m very happy to be part of it! The opportunities to develop as an individual and learn new skills are fantastic, I'm so glad I made the decision to apply and to have been given this opportunity by Imosphere!
I started working at Imosphere in 2014 as a placement student software engineer. I was quickly put to work building a small database comparison tool which would prove to be a great help to some of our internal staff. The relative simplicity of this first project coupled with the supportive working environment here helped me quickly get used to the day-to-day experience of working at the company. 7 years later, I'm still here, continually driven by the importance of our software in the world of healthcare, and my determination to help make it the best it can be.
I joined Imosphere back in 2014, after moving to the UK. I started working on social care plan implementation and soon began development on ETL support for our products. Years and many improvements later, I still find there’s always a new challenges and opportunities at Imosphere. I moved to Australia in 2015, only a year after starting at Imosphere and have been working remotely ever since. The support and flexibility offered by Imosphere really helped keep me engaged and motivated when fully remote working wasn’t common place. The culture of care, compassion and excellence really shines though and extends to employees, customers and partners alike.
There’s a great team of people here and everyone is so passionate about the work they do. I’ve had the opportunity to grow both personally and professionally during my time here and I’m grateful for the support I’ve been given by the company. The flexibility offered when it comes to where/when we work really helps with my work-life balance too, which is really important to me.
I started with Imosphere as a Software Engineer in the basement of our current building, where I got deeply involved in our Analytics application. Since then I have moved up in more ways than one, from the basement to the 3rd floor, and from Software Engineer to Senior, Lead and now, after 8 years, Head of Development! Staying here so long has I think been down to the culture. I've been given many opportunities and supported in my constant desire to improve things for both myself and others and the flexibility afforded to us around our working life (since long before Covid-19 hit our lives) was not something I was given elsewhere. It's also very much due to the fact that we work on software that helps people, whether it's in identifying the right budget for their needs, or getting them into cancer treatment trials.
I've worked for Imosphere for the best part of 10 years, starting as an engineer before taking the lead on the design of our software. We have a fantastic, multi-disciplined team delivering quality solutions to education, health and social care in an environment that really cares about the well-being of its employees. Working for Imosphere is a pleasure and the culture allows you to grow and thrive as a professional.
Working at Imosphere has been, and continues to be, an absolute pleasure. I started in a Software Tester role and over the 5 years I have worked here I have learned so much. I am grateful to have had the opportunities to become a Senior Tester, and now the Test Lead here. Imosphere is a great company full of talented, supportive people with a culture to match.
