Risk and CARAS tools updated following release of new NICE guidelines

We’re pleased to announce the release of V8.1 of the FACE Risk Toolset, and V3 of the CARAS Toolset, following a full review of the toolsets earlier this year.

The reviews were driven by two main factors: suggestions for improvements made during practice training workshops; and the publication of new guidelines relating to risk of self-harm by the National Institute for Health and Care Excellence (NICE).

Imosphere and our experienced partner consultants are fully confident that the FACE Risk Profile tools for both adults and young people are compliant with the new NICE guidelines, and we’ve received positive feedback on the changes we’ve made to ensure that compliance is sufficiently and immediately clear, as we understand that organisations using the tools will want to be able to demonstrate this.

The new tools and accompanying materials have been delivered to existing licensed customers, and samples can be requested on the CARAS and Risk pages of our website.
